The service

Scenttag reads the fragrance allergen table you paste or load in your web browser, matches it to the list of fragrance allergens in Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 that must be named in the ingredient list, and shows which of them exceed the threshold for the product type and oil percentage you enter. It can combine several fragrance oils, save formulas in your browser and write a CSV or PDF of the result. It does not check maximum use limits, does not replace a cosmetic product safety report (CPSR), and does not file or notify anything.

Scenttag gives information. It is not legal advice or a safety assessment. Your Responsible Person or safety assessor confirms the label. The tool covers EU rules; Great Britain has its own list.

Scenttag is an independent tool. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with the European Commission, IFRA or any fragrance supplier. Scenttag gives information, not legal advice or a cosmetic product safety report (CPSR).

What the list is based on

Based on Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/1545: 81 entries that must be named in the ingredient list above 0.001% (leave-on) or 0.01% (rinse-off). EU rules only; Great Britain keeps its own list. Cosmetic products are applied to the body, so candles and wax melts are outside this tool. Products that did not comply could be placed on the EU market until 31 July 2026 and made available until 31 July 2028.

Scenttag is made by Atesen Software, Sakarya, Türkiye. Orders are processed by Paddle, the seller and merchant of record.

Plans and payment

The free plan gives the full result for one fragrance oil. The monthly plan ($9 per month) adds several oils in one formula, saved formulas and PDF and CSV downloads. Prices in USD. Local VAT/GST is included or added at checkout by Paddle depending on your country. Paddle.com Market Limited is the seller and merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles tax and issues refunds. The plan renews until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal and the plan works until the end of the period already paid.

Licence

A licence key is made in your browser when you subscribe. It unlocks the paid features for the plan period, for the person or business that bought it. Do not publish or resell keys. A refunded or charged-back payment ends the key.

Your tables

Your tables are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. You are responsible for having the right to use the data you load.

No warranty on results

Check every result before you print a label. The service is provided as is, to the extent the law allows, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
