Tubline ("the app") is made by Samet Ateşen (Atesen Software), Türkiye ("we"). This policy describes what the app's code does. If the app changes, this policy changes with it.
Tubline has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server for this app, so nothing you do in the app reaches us.
Tubline connects to your hot tub's Wi-Fi module on your home network (TCP port 4257, the module's local protocol). It reads the spa's status (water and set temperature, heater, pumps, lights, settings, the panel's model and the module's network address) and sends the commands you tap, such as a new set temperature or switching a light. These connections go only to addresses inside your home network; the app refuses public internet addresses and host names.
If you tap "Find my hot tub automatically", the app uses your phone's local IPv4 address to check TCP port 4257 on the addresses of the same private /24 subnet and keeps the ones that answer like a spa module. The address and discovery results are not sent to us. Demo mode uses a simulated spa and does not need a physical module.
The module's local protocol uses unencrypted TCP, not HTTP or HTTPS. Spa readings and commands are not encrypted in transit on your home network. Use a trusted home Wi-Fi network. Purchases use the platform store; links to our website use HTTPS.
On iOS, allow Local Network access when asked; you can change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. On Android, the app uses internet and network-state access for local Wi-Fi communication. It does not need location access to find your spa. If local-network access is blocked, the demo remains usable.
The app stores the name, network address and creation time of the spas you add, whether Tubline Pro is unlocked, and local counters and dates used to decide when to show the platform's rating prompt. These stay inside the app on your phone; they are not sent to us. The spa's readings are shown live and are not stored as history. Device backups may include app data where enabled and supported; your platform or backup provider handles those backups, not us.
In-app purchases and restores are processed by Apple on iOS or Google Play on Android. Tubline reads the store's purchase records to determine whether Pro is unlocked and completes transactions through the store. It does not send purchase records to an Atesen Software server, and we do not receive your payment details through the app. The store handles account, payment and transaction information under its own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. A rating you choose to submit is handled by the platform store.
Remove a spa in Settings to delete its saved entry. Clear the app's storage on Android or delete the app to remove its local data. Separately delete any device backups you want removed. Because we hold no copy of your spa data, there is nothing to delete on our side.
Tubline is intended for adults aged 18 and over who own or operate a home spa. It is not directed at children.
For privacy questions, contact support@atesensoftware.com. If you choose to e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address and the information you include so we can reply. Do not include Wi-Fi passwords or other secrets. This correspondence is separate from the app's local spa data.
