Wattline ("the app") is made by Samet Ateşen (Atesen Software), Türkiye ("we"). This policy describes what the app's code does. If the app changes, this policy changes with it.
Wattline has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server for this app and do not collect your inverter readings, network addresses, location, contacts or device identifiers.
When you enter your inverter's address, the app reads live power values from your Fronius inverter or Datamanager on your home network (Fronius Solar API v1). These requests go only to that address on your local network; the app refuses public internet addresses and does not follow redirects.
If you choose Find my inverter, Wattline uses your phone's local IPv4 address to check the other addresses on the same private /24 subnet for the Solar API. This discovery happens on your local network; the address and results are not sent to us. The app reads data only and does not change inverter settings. Demo mode uses simulated readings and does not need an inverter.
Connections to the inverter use plain HTTP because the local Solar API uses HTTP. These readings are not encrypted in transit on your home network. Use a trusted home Wi-Fi network. Purchases and links to our website use the platform store and HTTPS respectively.
On iOS, allow Local Network access when asked. You can change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network. On Android, the app uses internet and network-state access to communicate over your local Wi-Fi. It does not need location access to find the inverter. If local-network access is blocked, you can still use the demo.
The app stores timestamped power readings, system names and inverter addresses, preferences and Pro entitlement state inside the app on your phone. The free version keeps 2 days of history; Wattline Pro keeps its recorded history until you delete it. Recording takes place while the app is active. On Android, Wattline disables automatic app-data backup. On iOS, app data may be included in your device backups if you enable them; those backups are handled by Apple or your backup provider, not by us.
If you use Export (Pro), the app creates a CSV file in its local cache and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose the destination and whether to share it. The receiving app or service handles the exported file under its own privacy policy.
In-app purchases and restores are processed by Apple on iOS or Google Play on Android. Wattline uses the store's purchase records to determine whether Pro is unlocked. It does not send purchase records to an Atesen Software server, and we do not receive your payment details through the app. The store handles account, payment and transaction information under its own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. The app may ask the platform to show its standard rating prompt after regular use; it does not send usage analytics to us.
Remove a system in Settings to delete its history, or clear the app's storage on Android or delete the app to remove its local data. Separately delete any exported files or device backups you want removed. Because we hold no copy of your readings, there is nothing to delete on our side.
Wattline is intended for adults aged 18 and over who own or monitor a home solar system. It is not directed at children.
For privacy questions, contact support@atesensoftware.com. If you choose to e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address and the information you include so we can reply. Do not include inverter passwords or other secrets. This correspondence is separate from the app's local readings.
