Weighline ("the app") is made by Samet Ateşen (Atesen Software), Türkiye ("we"). This policy describes what the app's code does. If the app changes, this policy changes with it.
Weighline has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server for this app, and the app does not use the internet for its own features, so nothing you weigh or enter reaches us.
Supported scales broadcast each weighing over Bluetooth. While Weighline's weighing screen is open, the app listens for these broadcasts and reads from them the weight, the unit, whether the weight has settled and, from the Mi Body Composition Scale 2, the impedance value the scale sends. Weighline does not connect to the scale, does not send it anything and does not use your location. It stops listening when you leave the weighing screen or the app. iOS asks for Bluetooth permission the first time; without it the app cannot hear the scale. You can change it any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth.
After you confirm your first weighing from a scale, Weighline remembers that scale by the identifier iOS gives it, and ignores other scales nearby, so a neighbour's weight never lands in your history.
Apple Health is off until you switch it on in Weighline's settings. When it is on, Weighline writes each weighing to Apple Health as Weight and, if you set your height, as Body Mass Index. Weighline does not read any data from Apple Health. Data that Weighline writes to or handles for Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold and never shared with anyone; it does not leave your iPhone except into Apple Health itself, where Apple's settings (such as iCloud sync of Health) apply. You can change Weighline's Health access any time in the Health app or in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
On your iPhone, inside the app: each person you add (name, height, preferred unit); each weighing (date and time, weight, BMI, impedance value if the scale sent one, scale model, whether it went to Apple Health and the identifiers of the Health samples Weighline wrote, so it can delete them later); the remembered scale's identifier; your settings (Apple Health on or off, whether you have seen the welcome screen); and whether Weighline Pro is unlocked. This data is part of your device's own iCloud or computer backup if you use one; that backup is handled by Apple, not by us.
When you export your weighings, Weighline writes a CSV file into the app's temporary folder and opens the iOS share sheet. Where the file goes next (Files, Mail, another app) is your choice; we do not receive it.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit). We do not receive your name, e-mail address or payment details, and no personal data reaches us. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Because we hold no copy, there is nothing to delete on our side.
Weighline shows the weight your scale reports and a BMI calculated from it. It does not diagnose, treat or advise. For questions about your health, ask a doctor.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
