For Onkyo, Pioneer, Integra and older Yamaha AV receivers
Your AV receiver, in your pocket: power, volume, inputs and zone 2 on your home network. No account, no cloud, and every control works with VoiceOver.
For networked AV receivers at home · iPhone · In development — not yet on the App Store
Networked Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra receivers have a local control port (eISCP), and older Yamaha network receivers a local web control. Ampline uses them directly on your home network: no account, no cloud, no other app. There is no tracking and no advertising. The receiver must be on your network with "Network standby" on in its setup menu, or it cannot be woken from the app. Ampline works at home only.
Onkyo, Pioneer (2016 and later) and Integra network receivers, and older Yamaha network receivers (RX-V and CX-A series without MusicCast; MusicCast models have Yamaha's own good app). Not every model of every brand has been tested: the free version shows at once whether yours answers, before you buy Pro. Your iPhone must be on the same network. No receiver nearby? The app has a demo where everything works.
Free to download: power, volume and mute for one receiver. Ampline Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that adds the inputs, the sound modes, zone 2 and more than one receiver.
Yes. Ampline talks to the receiver's own control port on your network, so it needs no Onkyo app or account. Most other independent iPhone remotes only support Denon and Marantz.
If your receiver is an older Yamaha network model, yes: Ampline uses the same local control, in a current app.
Yes. Set your limit in Settings; above it Ampline asks once before sending the higher value. The slider sends one value when you let go, never a burst of steps.
Every control has a label and a value (for example "Volume, minus 32.5 decibels"), and the volume can be adjusted with the rotor.
No, only on your home network.
