Your files
The files you choose are read and checked inside your browser. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else. Downloads are built in your browser and saved by your browser.
What our server receives
- Page requests, as with any web page. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes them.
- Anonymous counters. The page tells us when it was opened, when an audit was run and when the payment window was opened. We store a count per day, with no identifier, no IP address and no file data.
- Licence checks. When you enter or restore a key, the page sends the key so we can check it. For each paid key we keep a one-way hash of it, the plan, the expiry date, the Paddle transaction number and the source fields described below.
Where a visitor came from
A first-party cookie named ats_src, shared by the atesensoftware.com sites, holds the campaign tags in the link you arrived on, the referring site and the landing page, for the first and the latest visit, for up to 90 days. It holds no identifier and is not set when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. When you buy, those fields go with the order so we can see which pages lead to sales.
Payments
Paddle collects your payment details, name, email and billing address as seller and merchant of record under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your card details.
In your browser
Your licence key, and the key made when you start a purchase, are kept in this browser's local storage so the audit stays unlocked. Clearing site data removes them, so keep a copy of your key.
