Figma2Klaviyo support
Help for Figma2Klaviyo, the Figma plugin that turns a selected Auto Layout email frame into responsive, table-based HTML you can import into a Klaviyo custom HTML template.
Prepare and export an email
- Build the email as one frame, component or instance between 240 and 1000 px wide, using vertical or horizontal Auto Layout without wrapping. A single export supports up to 40 visible layers and 12 levels of nesting.
- Use plain text with one style per text layer and an optional HTTPS link, plus opaque single-color fills. Hidden layers are skipped.
- For a picture, select a rectangle and use Add a hosted image with a public HTTPS image URL you host yourself. The plugin does not upload images.
- Select the email frame, press Export selection, check the preview, then use Download HTML or Copy HTML. You can try the plugin without a design with Try sample.
- In Klaviyo, create a custom HTML template and import or paste the file. The result is code, not drag-and-drop blocks. The export includes Klaviyo's
{% unsubscribe %}tag.
If an export is refused
The plugin stops with a message instead of producing a wrong email. Typical causes are vectors, groups, masks, effects, gradients, strokes, rotation, opacity, absolute positioning, mixed text styles, wrapping Auto Layout, more than 40 layers or a width outside 240 to 1000 px. Simplify the frame, flatten pictures into hosted images, and export again. Fonts are normalized to Arial or Helvetica, and line height and letter spacing are not reproduced, so the result is not pixel-perfect.
Before you send
Add your sender postal address and check personalization and legal compliance in Klaviyo. The preview in the plugin is a browser approximation; test the template in the email clients your audience uses, such as Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail. Horizontal rows stack on narrow screens below 620 px.
Release limits
Free export works without an account and uses no network access. No hosted upload service, checkout, paid plan or license is offered, and the plugin never sends campaigns. Real Figma Desktop operation and rendering in the main email clients have not yet been fully validated. These pages do not announce a Figma Community release or a Community plugin ID.
