e-Arşiv Asistanı privacy
This section describes how e-Arşiv Asistanı handles data, last updated 23 October 2026. It supplements the site-wide privacy policy.
Where the extension runs
In your browser, on the e-Arşiv portal only: earsivportal.efatura.gov.tr and its test portal, earsivportaltest.efatura.gov.tr. Atesen Software receives nothing from it.
What it talks to
The e-Arşiv portal you are signed in to, with your own portal session, using the commands the portal's own pages use: listing your recent invoices and drafts, the taxpayer lookup, reading your own company details and creating drafts.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye's public exchange-rate files (www.tcmb.gov.tr/kurlar), requested by date only, and only when you press the TCMB button for a foreign-currency invoice. Those requests carry no information about you or your invoices.
What it sends
Atesen Software receives nothing from the extension. Your invoices and customers are sent only to the e-Arşiv portal, as the portal's own pages send them. It has no analytics and loads no remote code.
A future paid version may add a licence check; this page will be updated before it ships.
What it stores
- Your customer book: the names, tax numbers, tax offices, addresses and contact details you enter or import, in the browser's local storage on this device. There is one book per portal user, keyed by that user's tax number.
- Your list of goods and services, in the same storage.
- The invoice you are preparing, so that it survives a page reload. It is cleared when you clear the form and after a draft is created.
- Your settings and the defaults for new invoices (on or off, currency, VAT rate and unit), in the browser's sync storage. If browser sync is on, the browser syncs them to your other devices.
- Recent invoices are read from the portal when you open that tab and are kept only in memory. The extension never stores your portal password or your session token.
Your portal session
The portal keeps your session token in its own address and in its requests. The extension reads it in the page, in memory, to call the portal's commands for you, only while the portal is open. The token is sent only to the portal and is never written to storage.
Permissions it asks for
- Storage: to keep your customer book, goods and services, invoice defaults and settings.
- Access to the e-Arşiv portal, the live and the test portal: to show the assistant and call the portal's commands.
- Access to www.tcmb.gov.tr/kurlar: to read exchange rates.
