What it does
Function Vault is an extension for Zoho CRM administrators and developers who maintain Deluge and other functions. One click downloads the published code of every function into a single ZIP with a SHA-256 hash for each file and an index. You can compare a backup with the organisation as it is now, or two backups with each other, and read the line-by-line changes; and you can search all the code for text or a regular expression. It runs in your browser with one read-only permission and never changes anything in your organisation.
Capabilities
Snapshot
Downloads the published code of every function: Deluge as .ds files, Java, Node.js and Python functions as their archives, plus manifest.json with a SHA-256 for each file and index.csv for your spreadsheet. Functions that are not published or are larger than Zoho's download limit are listed with the reason.
Compare
Compare a snapshot with the organisation as it is now, or two snapshots with each other. See which functions were added, removed or changed, and open any changed function to read the line-by-line difference.
Search
Find text or a regular expression in the code of every function and see the function, file and line of each match. Regular expressions that could hang the browser are refused.
Careful with your organisation
One read-only permission, requests one at a time at about 40 a minute, and an interrupted snapshot continues where it stopped. Each user connects with their own Zoho account, so it reads only what that user may read.
Questions
Where does Function Vault run?
The extension runs in your browser, as a web tab inside Zoho CRM. Every call goes only to the Zoho API of your organisation's data centre, through the extension's connection, which each user authorises with their own Zoho account. Atesen Software runs no server for it and receives none of your code.
How do I get help with Function Vault?
Support for Function Vault is provided by email in English and Turkish. We aim to reply within two business days.

What we do not claim
- It is being submitted to Zoho Marketplace and is not approved or listed. It has no installations, customers or reviews.
- It does not restore functions and does not back up workflow rules, schedules or draft versions.
- Downloading Java, Node.js and Python archives has not been verified in a live organisation yet. An archive that does not arrive intact is skipped and listed, never saved damaged.
- The China and United Kingdom data centres are not supported.
