Function Vault privacy
This section describes how Function Vault handles data. It supplements the site-wide privacy policy.
Where the extension runs
The extension runs in your browser, as a web tab inside Zoho CRM. Every call goes only to the Zoho API of your organisation's data centre, through the extension's connection, which each user authorises with their own Zoho account. Atesen Software runs no server for it and receives none of your code.
What it reads
The list of functions in your organisation (name, API name, category, runtime, state, created and modified times) and the published source code of each function. Zoho's list also names the users who created and last changed each function; the extension does not use or keep those names. It uses one permission, ZohoCRM.settings.functions.READ, and sends only GET requests.
What it writes
Nothing in your organisation. The snapshot ZIP is saved on your disk when you download it.
What it stores
While a snapshot runs, in your browser only: in local storage, the data centre you chose, when the run started and was last saved, and the IDs of functions already finished (no names, no code); in IndexedDB, the code of each function already downloaded with its hash and modified time, stored under the function ID. The function list is not stored, so neither are function names, user names, descriptions, arguments or tags. An interrupted run reads the list again from the start.
This is deleted as soon as the snapshot finishes. It remains only after an interruption and is then deleted when the next run finishes, when you choose Discard saved progress, or once it is more than 24 hours old when you next open the extension.
Zoho Marketplace
Zoho Marketplace shares the name and email address of the person who installs the extension with us when a paid plan is bought, or when that person rates the extension or gives feedback while installing or uninstalling it; for a free trial or a free installation, only if that person agrees. We use them only to answer questions about the extension and its billing, and we do not share them.
Deletion
We hold no data about your organisation, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. The temporary browser record is removed as described above; clearing the site data in your browser also removes it. Uninstalling the extension in Zoho revokes its connection.
Support correspondence
If you email support, that message reaches an Atesen Software mailbox, and we use it only to answer you. Please do not send function code or snapshot files unless we ask: they can contain secrets.
