SignatureGenius documentation
Documentation for SignatureGenius, the Figma plugin. It describes version 0.2. The plugin cannot be installed from Figma Community today; these instructions describe the planned release.
Requirements
- One signature frame, component or instance in Figma, built with nested horizontal or vertical Auto Layout. The plugin can create an example frame for you.
- For images: a public HTTPS URL for each image, hosted by you.
Prepare and install a signature
- Select the frame and open the plugin. Read the compatibility notes and fix anything it blocks.
- Paste the image URLs, press Prepare HTML export, then copy the signature or download the HTML file.
- Gmail: Settings, See all settings, General, Signature. Outlook: Settings, Signatures. Apple Mail: Settings, Signatures. Send yourself a test before you use it.
Free plan and Pro
The free plan previews your signature and prepares 3 exports per rolling 24 hours. Pro removes the limit.
After the plugin is listed and Pro checkout opens: to unlock Pro, open Pro license in the plugin, press Buy Pro (it opens the sales page in your browser), pay with Paddle, copy the key from the page or your e-mail (it starts with SG1.), paste it in the plugin and press Unlock Pro. The key is checked inside the plugin, works offline and is stored on your computer, so enter it once on each computer you use.
