Where the extension runs

The extension runs in your browser, as a tab inside Zoho Inventory or Zoho Books. Every call goes only to your own Zoho organisation, through the extension's connection, with read-only permissions. Atesen Software runs no server for it and receives none of your item data.

What it reads

Your organisation's name and base currency; your categories, item groups, locations and sales price lists; and your items (name, SKU, description, unit, sales rate, brand, category, group, status, stock by location, the custom fields you choose and item images). This is processed in your browser's memory to create the PDF, ZIP and Excel files your browser saves.

What it writes

Nothing in Zoho. The scopes it asks for are read-only: ZohoInventory.items.READ and ZohoInventory.settings.READ in Zoho Inventory; ZohoBooks.settings.READ and ZohoBooks.categories.READ in Zoho Books.

What it stores

In your browser's local storage for the extension's page: the templates you save (layout, fields, price source, cover title, subtitle, contact details and footer text) and the cover logo you choose (up to 750 KB). No item data. They stay until you delete them or clear the site data in your browser.

Item images fetched for a catalogue are kept in memory while the tab is open and discarded when you close it. Generated files are saved only on your device and may contain confidential prices.

Zoho Marketplace

Zoho Marketplace shares the name and email address of the person who installs the extension with us when a paid plan is bought, or when that person rates the extension or gives feedback while installing or uninstalling it; for a free trial or a free installation, only if that person agrees. We use them only to answer questions about the extension and its billing, and we do not share them.

Deletion

We hold no item data, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. To remove what the extension keeps, delete your templates and logo or clear the site data in your browser, and uninstall the extension in Zoho.

Support correspondence

If you email support, that message and anything you attach reaches an Atesen Software mailbox, and we use it only to answer you. Generated catalogues contain your prices; send one only if you are happy to share it.
