Reporting Tag Re-tagger privacy
This section describes how Reporting Tag Re-tagger handles data. It supplements the site-wide privacy policy.
Where the extension runs
The extension runs in your browser, as a web tab inside Zoho Books. Every call goes only to your own Zoho Books organisation, through the extension's Zoho Books connection that you authorise. Atesen Software runs no server for it and receives none of your data.
What it talks to
Only your Zoho Books organisation, through the extension's Zoho Books connection. It uses no analytics, cookies, trackers or third-party services. The only outside script it loads is Zoho's own extension SDK, served by Zoho.
What it reads
Expenses and manual journals, invoices (read only), reporting tags and their options, locations, the chart of accounts and the transaction lock settings.
What it writes
Only the reporting tag option or location on the transactions you confirmed. Everything else is sent back unchanged and each line keeps its line ID. Nothing is created or deleted.
The scopes it asks for are ZohoBooks.invoices.READ, ZohoBooks.invoices.UPDATE, ZohoBooks.expenses.READ, ZohoBooks.expenses.UPDATE, ZohoBooks.accountants.READ, ZohoBooks.accountants.UPDATE and ZohoBooks.settings.READ. Invoice changes are switched off in this version.
What it stores
In the browser's local storage of the extension's frame: the checkpoint of an unfinished job (transaction type and IDs, tag, option and location IDs, the date range and counters; no amounts, names or descriptions), deleted when the job ends, when you choose Discard, or after 30 days; and a daily call counter. If your browser blocks this storage, both are kept in memory for the session only.
The CSV log is a file you download. We do not keep a copy.
Zoho Marketplace
Zoho Marketplace shares the name and email address of the person who installs the extension with us when a paid plan is bought, or when that person rates the extension or gives feedback while installing or uninstalling it; for a free trial or a free installation, only if that person agrees. We use them only to answer questions about the extension and its billing, and we do not share them.
Deletion
We hold no data about your organisation, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. To remove what the extension keeps, finish or discard any unfinished job, uninstall the extension in Zoho Books and clear the site data in your browser. You can revoke its connection in Zoho at any time, and delete the log files you downloaded when you no longer need them.
Support correspondence
If you email support, that message and anything you attach reaches an Atesen Software mailbox, and we use it only to answer you. The log lists transaction numbers, IDs and tag values, so check it before you send it.
