Atesen Customer Import for Jira Service Management privacy
This section describes how Atesen Customer Import for Jira Service Management handles data. It supplements the site-wide privacy policy.
Where the application runs
The app is an Atlassian Forge application and runs on Atlassian. Atlassian hosts its code and processes its requests. Atesen Software operates no server or database for it and sends no data to itself or to any third party. The app has no analytics, no advertising networks and no sub-processors.
What it stores, and for how long
The app stores the data of each import job in Atlassian Forge storage inside your Atlassian Cloud environment, so that you can watch progress, resume a paused job and download the results.
- The rows of the uploaded CSV: email addresses, names and organization names.
- The result of each row, including the Atlassian account ID of a customer that was created or found.
- The Atlassian account ID of the administrator who started the job.
- Import rows and results are deleted automatically 30 days after the job was created. Closing the browser does not delete a job.
What it reads and writes in Jira
The app reads and creates Jira Service Management customers and organizations and adds them to the organizations and service spaces you choose. It does not read your issues, comments, attachments or customer conversations. It requests only the Atlassian scopes it needs for that work, and it makes no outbound network calls.
Logs
The app writes logs for troubleshooting. They contain job IDs, counts, HTTP status codes and error codes, and never email addresses, names or organization names.
Roles and deletion requests
For the customer data the app processes, your organization decides what is imported. Deletion of your own Jira Service Management customers is done in Atlassian Administration, not in this app. To ask about data handled by the app, write to support@atesensoftware.com.
Support correspondence
If you contact Atesen Software support by email, the message and attachments you choose to send leave Atlassian and are handled under the site-wide privacy policy. Remove emails, names and organization details from reports and screenshots, and do not send credentials or API tokens.
