Store Screenshot Localizer support
Help for Store Screenshot Localizer (F11), the Figma plugin that creates localized screenshot frames from translations you supply. This page is separate from Store Visual Localizer (S11) support.
Prepare localized screenshots
- Select source frames designed for the aspect ratio of your target preset.
- Name replaceable text layers with a matching key, such as
#headlineor#subtitle. - Import a UTF-8 CSV with a
keycolumn and language columns such asen-USandde-DE. Match key spelling and case; quote fields containing commas or line breaks. - Select languages and a preset, review validation messages, then create the localized copies. The plugin uses your CSV translations; it does not translate text or redesign layouts.
- Inspect fonts, line breaks, RTL text and clipping in Figma before downloading the PNG ZIP and report. PNGs use 8-bit RGB with transparency flattened onto white. Upload reviewed images to the store yourself.
Fonts, warnings and failed operations
If a font is unavailable, make it available in Figma before retrying. Check the exact error message and use a smaller fictional example to isolate a CSV key or layout problem. Failed creation rolls back copies created by that operation; your source frames remain available.
Overflow checks flag possible problems and cannot guarantee a correct layout. Shorten text or adjust your source layout, then review the generated frames again. Use a source frame with the chosen preset's aspect ratio rather than expecting automatic layout conversion.
Free allowance and release limits
Free use includes 3 output frames per rolling 24 hours, tracked locally in Figma. One source frame copied into three languages counts as three outputs. Reduce the batch to the remaining allowance, or wait until earlier usage falls outside that window.
Pro is a separate one-time license key (USD 24, excluding VAT or sales tax) sold through Paddle on screenshot-localizer.atesensoftware.com. Checkout there opens when the plugin is available on Figma Community. The Buy Pro button in the plugin opens that page in your browser. If you lose a key, the form on the sales site's support page sends it again to the address you bought with.
Real Figma Desktop operation has not yet been validated. These pages do not announce a Figma Community release or a Community plugin ID. Presets and warnings do not guarantee store acceptance; review actual output and the requirements of your destination store before submission.
Contact support
Email support@atesensoftware.com with the plugin version, operating system, target preset, language code, action attempted and exact error message. A minimal fictional CSV and a cropped screenshot can help. Do not include passwords, license keys, account details, private Figma files or real customer data.
