What it does

Bulk Resume Downloader for Workable is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. Workable has no way to download a job's resumes in bulk. With your own Workable API token, the extension lists a job's candidates, shows the file name each resume will get, and saves them all into one ZIP with an index.csv. Candidate data goes only from your Workable account to the ZIP on your computer; Atesen Software never receives it. The only other address the extension contacts is its license server, and only to check a license key you entered.

Capabilities

One ZIP per job

Choose a job and the stages to include. Every resume goes into one ZIP, with the extension Workable's own file name gives: PDF, Word or anything else the candidate sent.

File names you can sort

Stage_LastName_FirstName.pdf by default, or LastName_FirstName, FirstName LastName, or a folder per stage. The preview shows each name before anything is downloaded. Clashing names get a number.

An index of the export

index.csv has one row per candidate: the file, whether it was saved and why not, name, email, phone, stage, disqualified, applied date, headline, candidate ID and the Workable profile link. The separator follows the language.

Paced for Workable

Workable lets an account token make 10 requests in 10 seconds. The extension keeps to that, waits when Workable says to, retries server errors, and asks again for a resume link that expired before it was used.

Pause, resume, stop

A progress bar shows where the export is and how long is left. Stopping keeps what was already saved; the rest can be exported afterwards. A dropped connection pauses the export instead of failing it.

Nothing leaves your browser

Your token is kept for the browser session, or on your computer if you ask. Candidates' data goes only from Workable to the ZIP on your computer.

Prices are in US dollars. The unlimited plan is sold on resume-downloader.atesensoftware.com, where Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies and shows the total; checkout is open there. A subscription renews until you cancel it. 14-day refunds.

Where does Bulk Resume Downloader for Workable run?

Entirely in your browser. Atesen Software receives no candidate data, no Workable token and no list of jobs from it. The only Atesen Software service it ever contacts is the license server, and only when you have entered a license key.

It downloads resumes and, if you ask, cover letters. Other files attached to a candidate are not part of Workable's documented API and are not downloaded.
It is limited by Workable's rate limit of 10 requests in 10 seconds: about a minute for every 55 candidates.
The free plan saves only the first 10 resumes of each export. More needs the unlimited plan, a subscription of $19 a month or $190 a year sold through Paddle.
Browsers other than Chromium-based ones, such as Firefox and Safari, are not supported today.
