What it does
Report Fixer is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. It changes how QuickBooks Online reports are shown: the report uses the full width of the window, headings and the first column stay in view, and long names wrap instead of being cut off. The free plan does this on 3 different reports a day; Pro fixes every report, copies the whole report to Excel, saves it as CSV and downloads it as an Excel workbook with grouped rows. Existing users keep everything they have today for free. Reports are read in your browser and never sent to Atesen Software; only a license key you enter is checked with our license server.
Capabilities
Full width and sticky headings
The report uses the width of the window instead of a narrow centred column, and the side menu keeps its place. Column headings stay in view while the report scrolls, and account names stay in view when a wide report scrolls sideways.
Full text and row height
Names and memos cut off with “…” wrap onto a second line instead. Rows can be Normal, Compact or Tight.
Focus mode
Alt+Shift+F makes the report fill the window, with a slim title bar. Esc returns.
Copy for Excel and CSV (Pro)
Alt+Shift+C puts the whole report on the clipboard as a table that Excel and Google Sheets paste with real numbers, indents and bold totals. Long reports that load rows as they scroll are read to the end. CSV files are safe from formula injection.
Excel workbook with grouped rows (Pro, new)
Download the whole report as an .xlsx file: amounts as numbers in the report’s formats, bold totals, headings and account names frozen, and rows grouped by the report’s sections, so they collapse and expand with Excel’s own + and − buttons.
Drill-downs in a new tab (Pro)
Ctrl+click (⌘+click on a Mac) or middle-click an amount: the same report opens in a new tab and that amount is opened there, but only if the new tab shows the same figures. The current tab stays on the report.
Remembers expanded rows (Pro)
Each report reopens with the rows you collapsed or expanded.

Questions
Where does Report Fixer run?
In your browser, on QuickBooks Online pages only (qbo.intuit.com and its subdomains). Atesen Software never receives your reports.
What does Report Fixer connect to?
Without a license key it makes no network requests: no analytics, no account and no remote code, for founding users and on the free plan alike. If you enter a license key, the extension sends that key, and nothing else, to the Atesen Software license server (https://report-fixer.atesensoftware.com) when you activate it and then, while a report is open, at most once a day while the key is still valid (about once an hour after the key has expired), to receive a renewed key and to learn whether the subscription was cancelled or refunded. No report data, company name or QuickBooks account detail is ever sent. The only other copy outside your browser is the one Chrome Sync makes of your settings, if you have turned it on. The support snapshot is copied to your clipboard only when you press its button, with letters and digits replaced, and goes nowhere unless you send it.

- It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit. QuickBooks is a trademark of Intuit Inc.
- It changes no data in QuickBooks Online. It only changes how reports are shown, and reads them to copy or export them when you ask.
- It finds the report from the page as it is drawn. A change to QuickBooks Online can break a feature until the extension is updated.
- It works with QuickBooks Online in the browser, not with the QuickBooks desktop products.
