CreaseQuest

Fold the page to stamp bombs, tape and keys onto the other half, and guide a tiny paper hero to the exit. 30 paper puzzles, one fold at a time.

CreaseQuest title art: a sheet of grid paper folded diagonally, with an ink bomb bursting into colored splashes next to a small paper hero in a white cap, and a key, a strip of tape and a red wax seal on the page.

About the game

CreaseQuest is a puzzle game played on a sheet of paper. Grab the page, pull it over and fold it: everything printed on the folded half is stamped onto the other half, mirrored across the crease. Your tiny paper hero walks to the exit on its own as soon as the way is clear. You only decide where to fold.

Three worlds

There are 30 pages in three worlds:

  • Notebook, on graph paper: ink bombs blow up the ink blobs that block a gap, tape patches torn holes, stone stamps crush blobs and plug holes, and keys open padlocks.
  • Map, on parchment: diagonal folds join the horizontal and vertical ones, and wax seals pin the page. A half with a seal cannot be folded.
  • Origami, on patterned paper: ink wells splash a 3 by 3 area, mending holes and washing away blobs with a single stamp.

How it plays

  • Pull the page from anywhere. The crease snaps to the grid, and a see-through preview shows where every stamp will land.
  • Folds are easy to undo. Solving a page in the fewest folds earns three stars.
  • Every page has a solution, and all 30 were checked by a solver.
  • The first pages teach themselves with a small hint hand, so there is nothing to read.
  • Soft paper sounds and a calm music loop.

Controls

  • Mouse or touch: drag the page to fold it, and click or tap a square to walk there.
  • Z undoes a fold, and R restarts the page.
  • The arrow keys or WASD move the hero one square.
  • P or Esc pauses the game, and M mutes it.
