About the game

A sleeping cave waits in the dark, and at its center beats the Hollow Heart. Tap it to gather glow, spend the glow on twelve kinds of living producers, and watch the cave fill with light.

You start with a single spore sprout and work your way up through moss, glowing mushrooms, lantern ferns, firefly jars, dew presses, spore mills, root engines, crystal blooms, a moonwell and a mycelium net to the Hollow Star. Every producer has its own animation, and the more of them you own, the more of them crowd the cave.

The Lumen Beam is the twist. A beam of light sweeps across the plots and multiplies whatever it touches. Tap a plot to aim the beam and hold it where it counts, then wait for it to recharge.

When the cave is ready, Rebloom: reset the run for moonseeds, which boost everything you grow from then on. Each run is faster than the last.

Controls

  • Mouse or touch: tap the Hollow Heart to gather glow.
  • Tap a producer's Buy button to buy it. Use x1, x10, x100 or Max to buy several at once.
  • Tap a plot in the cave to aim the Lumen Beam at it.
  • Boosts and Awards tabs: tap an icon to read about it, and tap Buy to get it.
  • Space taps the heart on a desktop computer.
  • Esc or P pauses the game, and M mutes it.

Devices

Desktop and mobile. Glow Grotto plays with a mouse or by touch, in landscape or portrait.
