WinchTrap

Run, lay a steel rope around monsters and stakes, then fire the winch: one squeeze crushes everything inside the loop.

WinchTrap title art: a glowing steel cable runs from a winch on a stone floor and loops around four frightened monsters, with a large x5 combo above the loop, a golden gear post and bursts of ice and red shards nearby.

About the game

WinchTrap is an arena game built on one idea: a rope you run out behind you. Dash around the arena and a steel cable pays out from your winch. Bend it around stakes, loop it around monsters, then press the winch. The cable reels in, drags everything inside the loop to one point and squeezes it until it bursts. The more monsters in one squeeze, the bigger the combo.

The rope has a length limit, so every loop is a decision. A monster the rope has gone around lights up and panics, and a green ring means the squeeze will finish it.

  • Four kinds of monsters, including Cable Biters that gnaw through your rope and Heavy Brutes that need two wraps
  • TNT barrels that blow up everything near them, and spinning gear posts that supercharge the winch
  • 30 levels in 3 worlds: Dusty Ranch, Deep Iron Mine and Glacial Peak
  • 3 stars per level, and your progress is saved
